Mayacamas Vista House

A family home of 30 years lost in a devastating fire in the heart of California wine country is replaced with a fully reimagined, minimalist haven that creates space for new beginnings amidst the comfort of a familiar setting.

The exterior of the masonry was treated with a semi-opaque limewash, softening the texture while allowing its natural character to show through. Inside, the exposed interior masonry was finished with a clean, terrazzo-like surface, and the walls were painted a crisp, bright white—enhancing the home’s contemporary feel. The result is a light-filled, spacious environment that feels both sophisticated and serene.
