After a devastating fire destroyed a family home of 30 years in the heart of California wine country, the property has been rebuilt into a fresh, minimalist retreat.

On the exterior, a semi-opaque limewash softens the masonry while letting its natural character remain visible. Inside, the exposed masonry was refinished with a smooth, terrazzo-like surface, and the walls were painted a bright, clean white to highlight the home’s contemporary style. The result is a spacious, light-filled environment that feels both welcoming and refined.
